Fall Brings Fresh Hop Season to Hop Country
Fresh hop season has arrived. With Hop Harvest underway, the Yakima Valley takes on the scent of hops, while local breweries along the Hop Country Craft Beer Trail release a steady supply of newly made fresh hop ales.
For craft beer lovers, fresh hop season is an invitation to visit Hop Country. Make the drive through the lush hop fields soon, since harvest moves quickly and growers work to pick the hops at exactly the right moment. Fall also brings a full calendar of Hop Country celebrations, including the original Fresh Hop Ale Festival.
