Over the past three decades, the Yakima Valley's viticulture has matured, and its winemakers are now some of the most respected in the Northwest. More than 90 wineries and five AVA's are located within just 70 miles, making wine tasting in the Yakima Valley a distinctive and rewarding experience.

Hops and Beer

Volcanic soil and long, hot days make the Yakima area an ideal environment for growing hops. The region proudly produces over 70% of our nation's hops—without these farmers, craft beer would not exist. Visiting the Yakima Valley means coming to the source.

The Yakima Valley helped pioneer the farm-to-table experience. With more than 40 commercial crops, the region offers the largest variety of fresh grown produce in the Pacific Northwest. Visitors can enjoy the sunshine while picking their own fruit or explore one of the many Farmers Markets.
