01 — Thanksgiving in Wine Country
On the day after Thanksgiving, Yakima Valley wineries welcome visitors for a weekend filled with tastings, delicious food pairings, live music, holiday specials and more.
02 — Lighted Farm Implement Parade
Welcome the season during the first weekend in December at downtown Sunnyside's Lighted Farm Implement Parade, one of the most unique lighted parades in the Northwest. This enchanting festival of lights honors the Valley's agricultural heritage.
03 — Ski White Pass
White Pass Ski Area is only a one-hour drive from Downtown Yakima and offers skiing and snowboarding for every skill level. Abundant snowfall and fantastic weather conditions make it an ideal PNW winter destination.
04 — Seasonal Performance Arts
See a performance at the historic 1917 Seasons Performance Hall or the 1920s Pantages-style Capitol Theatre. The programming includes classic holiday favorites, acclaimed symphony performances and exceptional touring artists and productions.
05 — Snowshoe Tours at White Pass
For a snowshoeing adventure, visit the Nordic Center at White Pass Ski Area, where rentals are available. Explore snow-covered trees and the area around a mountain lake, or reserve a place on a guided twilight snowshoe tour that includes appetizers and beverages afterward.
06 — Ski Clinics with Mahre Made & Girls with Grit
Spend time outdoors in our Northwest wonderland with Mahre Athletic Development Experience (MADE) and work toward your next level. Andy's and Shannon's group and private ski clinics offer an experience to remember.
07 — Red Wine & Chocolate Weekend
Each February on Presidents Day Weekend, Yakima Valley wineries welcome red wine and chocolate enthusiasts. Sample delectable chocolate creations matched with the Valley's signature red wines.
08 — Snowmobiling in the Cascades
