Yakima Valley Fresh Fruit & Produce Farms, Farmstands and Markets

Meet the Yakima Valley Farmers

Across more than 350,000 acres of fertile, patchwork farmland, small Yakima Valley farms produce asparagus, eggplant, apricots, winter pear, mint, all kinds of berries, pumpkins, and 30 other types of fruits and vegetables. Much of the landscape is also devoted to the Yakima Valley's famous hop fields, where bright green hops are grown for beers throughout the world. Extensive vineyards climb the hillsides as well, producing a third of Washington State's wine grapes.

An agricultural map of the Yakima Valley can guide you away from the main roads and into the region's farm country. Along the way, visit roadside stands for a wide range of offerings, or take boxes with you and gather all you can carry at one of the many U-pick spots.
