For nearly 20 years with Yakima Valley Tourism, I have immersed myself in hospitality industry associations/organizations including WSAE, MPI and SGMP. Serving on the boards of WSAE and SGMP gave me insight into the hospitality industry from every angle. As a Yakima Valley native, I remain active in my community through organizations including the Junior League of Yakima. I am also a former board member for the YWCA Yakima and the City of Yakima Parks and Recreation Commission. My primary focus is government groups and business trade associations.

Much of my success comes from working alongside a very supportive YVT and Sales Team, as well as having such a great destination product to represent. After earning my history degree from Central Washington University, I taught elementary school for 3 years and coached softball at Yakima Valley Community College. My colleagues and clients respect my can-do attitude, my commitment to understanding their needs, and my knowledge of the Yakima Valley.

Born and raised in Yakima, I have watched the beautiful Valley grow and develop while retaining its historic charm. Following 10 years in the cosmetology industry, I changed career paths and became an Account Manager with Yakima Valley Tourism. I am excited to share my knowledge and love for the Yakima Valley while helping people discover everything the Valley has to offer. My market segment focus includes fraternal, religious and education associations. I work to meet every group’s meeting requirements, whether the gathering takes place at the Yakima Convention and Event Center, a hotel or one of the many distinctive event spaces around town.

Growing up in the Yakima Valley has given me in-depth knowledge of our wineries, breweries, restaurants, and hiking trails. As a mother, I also stay current on local kid friendly events and activities, along with places where families are guaranteed a great experience. I take time to understand each client in depth and always go the extra mile to fulfill their wants and needs during a visit to the Yakima Valley.
