Spring brings new energy to the valley: vineyards awaken, and Yakima Valley wineries start sharing their latest wines. Each April, wineries throughout the region welcome visitors for Spring Barrel Weekend. Visit during the last weekend in April to explore emerging Yakima Valley vintages through seasonal celebrations and distinctive tasting events.
Taste wine drawn straight from the barrel alongside brand new spring releases, thoughtfully matched pairings, learning opportunities, tours, products, flavorful offerings from local vendors, live music, and more.

Complete your tasting day at Yakima Valley restaurants. HopTown Woodfired Pizza is just minutes from wineries in Wapato and Zillah. You can also take bottles of Yakima Valley Wines from your tasting excursions to WaterFire Restaurant & Bar. During Spring Barrel Weekend, from Friday through Tuesday, they are waiving corkage fees for Yakima Valley wines.
