Visit Yakima Valley Vintners

Yakima Valley College’s award-winning teaching winery welcomes visitors to its tasting room at the Yakima campus, west of the Larson Gallery. At the Grandview campus, visitors can take a behind-the-scenes look at winemaking, explore wine sensory experiences, and taste premium wines.

The Yakima tasting room is located at 1606 W Nob Hill Blvd, Yakima, WA 98902. It is Open Fridays and Saturdays Noon-5pm. Reservations encouraged. Please make reservations at yakima@yakimavalleyvintners.com or by calling 509-574-4794.

About the Wines

Yakima Valley Vintners produces between 400-700 cases per year. The award-winning wines made their first appearance during the 2008 Yakima Valley Spring Barrel Tasting. Students in the Vineyard & Winery Technology Program produce the wines, which have earned 185 awards over the last 15 vintages.

The wines from that first release became award winners and are all sold out. Additional award winners followed the inaugural year, keeping the tasting room stocked with reds and whites from the 2018, 2019 and 2022 vintages.
