About Yakima Chief Hops

Yakima Chief Hops (YCH) brings together a 100% grower-owned network of family hop farms. This structure helps build meaningful connections between hop growers and innovative brewers who use hops in their beer. YCH’s mission is to link family hop farms with the world’s finest brewers.

Hop harvest in the Pacific Northwest takes place annually between August and October. Field tours are available upon request and are led by the growers themselves.

YCH proudly supports local events and organizations such as the Fresh Hop Ale Festival, Craft Beverage Yakima, Downtown Association Yakima, Pink Boots Society, Yakima Valley Tourism, Roots & Vines and Downtown Summer Nights.

Yakima Chief Hops (YCH) connects family hop farms with the world’s finest brewers and offers well-known hop brands including Simcoe®, Mosaic®, Loral® & Sabro™.

As a premium hop supplier, YCH serves brewery customers around the globe. The company is headquartered in Yakima and operates production facilities in Yakima & Sunnyside. These facilities include a state-of-the-art CO2 extract plant, three hop pellet mills, a patent-pending Cryo Hops® plant and cold-storage warehousing capacity exceeding 30 million pounds of hops.
