About Valley Brewing Company

Valley Brewing Company is a Yakima, Washington, brewery created by three best friends who share a passion for craft and a love for beer.

In 2014, after college and a period of drinking light beer, the founders began exploring craft beer as consumers, initially knowing very little about it. They held plenty of misconceptions about hops, IPA’s, and related topics. Experiences at craft beer festivals, local breweries—especially Bale Breaker Brewery—and breweries throughout the Northwest changed how they understood craft beer. Their enthusiasm for the industry and its community deepened, inspiring them to become more involved.

Following months of research, they jumped into home-brewing. Recipe refinement, experimentation, sampling, and many rounds of trial and error eventually led to the idea for Valley Brewing. After countless brew days, renovations, legalities, and unexpected obstacles, Valley Brewing Company opened its microbrewery facility & tasting room. The brewery offers experimental IPAs, sours and other varieties.

Food is available as well, with locally owned restaurant Garcia's Kitchen operating directly from the kitchen.
