Horizons Edge Winery — A Family-Owned Winery in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA
Established in 1983, Horizons Edge Winery occupies 18 acres in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA, where the vineyard grows Muscat Canelli, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Merlot. This small family owned winery produces about 1,500 cases a year.

David and Lisa Padgett became the current owners of Horizon’s Edge Winery when it opened under their ownership on April 1st, 1999. The property’s 18 acres of vineyard and intimate family atmosphere create a comfortable, easygoing tasting experience.
Owner and winemaker David Padgett enjoys answering visitors’ questions and is frequently working on an experiment or project in pursuit of his next success. His award winning and delicious ports include Wishful Thinking Chocolate Port and Smoking Gun Coffee Port.
Maison De Padgett Winery, David and Lisa’s second winery, is also located at this site. The Maison De Padgett label includes wines such as Lipservice Rose. Lisa operates a small gift shop in the tasting room, offering unique vintage gifts.
Hard working and down to Earth, this winery welcomes people who don’t know anything about wine as well as those who know way to much!
