The Winter Carnival takes place Saturday March 6 and Sunday March 7, 2027.

A dedicated volunteer crew builds a huge snow castle for the celebration. Public hours are 10 am until 5 pm Saturday and 10 am until 3 pm Sunday. Tubing at the castle begins at 10 am on both days. The Kids' Obstacle Course Race is scheduled for 11 am on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday only, night skiing runs from 2 until 8 pm and comes with a day ticket or season pass. The evening also features fireworks, a Torchlight Parade, and a Snowcat Parade.

Food service includes the regular menu at the Cafe, Bistro and Espresso. High Camp will also be open.

Winter Carnival Schedule

Saturday

• 10 am to 5 pm: Castle open for tubing
• 10 am to 4 pm: Face painting and cotton candy available
• 11 am to NOON: Obstacle Course; sign up at the top of the course
• 12:45 pm: Obstacle Course Awards at the Castle
• 2 pm to 8 pm: Night skiing, Saturday only; Day Tickets and Unrestricted Season Passes are valid for night skiing
• 4 pm to 8 pm: DJ Dance Party in the Day Lodge, with family-friendly dance party music
• 5 pm: Castle closes
• 7 PM: Torchlight Parade and Fireworks

Sunday

• 10 am to 3 pm: Castle open for tubing
• 10 am to 2 pm: Face painting and cotton candy available
• 11 am - NOON: Obstacle Course; sign up at the top of the course
• 12:45 pm: Obstacle Course Awards at the Castle
• 3 pm: Castle closes for tubing
