Toy Train Christmas Returns to the Northern Pacific Railway Museum in Toppenish

Toy Train Christmas recreates the nostalgic tradition of trains circling the Christmas tree. More than 40 model trains, ranging from Z scale to the real thing, will be arranged for the holiday season.

A 7 1/2 scale live steam model of NP 1364 will be displayed in the waiting room. Another room features operating Lego trains, where children can create and build their own designs. Kids can also enjoy hands-on crafts and toy trains made for younger operators.

A train journey from the depot to the North Pole offers a chance to visit Santa and entertain children of any age. As a curious bit of history, one passenger on record has believed in Santa for 102 years. Santa will provide complimentary hot chocolate and cookies.

Admission proceeds support the restoration and maintenance of displays at the museum. Most major credit cards accepted.
