Toy Train Christmas at the Northern Pacific Railway Museum in Toppenish — Event Information

Toy Train Christmas recalls the era when toy trains circled Christmas trees. More than 40 model trains, ranging from Z scale to the real thing, will be arranged for the holiday season. Visitors can also see a 7 1/2? scale live steam model of NP 1364 in the waiting room.

One room features operating Lego trains, where children can create and develop their own designs. Young visitors can take part in hands-on activities, including craft projects and toy trains made for younger children to operate.

A train journey runs from the depot to the North Pole, where families can meet Santa. The experience is intended to delight children of any age. One recorded passenger has believed in Santa for 102 years. Santa provides hot chocolate and cookies at no additional charge.

All admission proceeds support the restoration and maintenance of displays at the museum. Most major credit cards are accepted.
