Pumpkin Patch & Festival at Thompson’s Farm features pumpkin cannons, pig races, hayrides, a corn maze, homemade donuts, and more.

On Saturdays and Sundays throughout October, Thompson’s Farm becomes one of the Yakima Valley’s premier fall destinations. For generations, this Pumpkin Patch has welcomed families from across Washington State for a full day of seasonal activities and shared memories.

Visitors can do more than choose a pumpkin. The fall festival includes pumpkins launched through the air by pumpkin cannons, pig races enjoyed by children and adults, orchard hayrides, fresh homemade donuts prepared on-site, a challenging corn maze, and additional attractions.

Guests may search for the right pumpkin, pick fresh apples, or enjoy an outdoor family outing in a scenic rural setting. Traditional harvest activities are paired with distinctive attractions found on the fifth-generation family farm.

Admission and parking are FREE. Spend the day enjoying the free activities, then pay only for the activities you select or the items you bring home. Pumpkin cannons fire on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm, with pig races afterward. Fresh homemade donuts are made throughout weekend days, and apples are available for u-pick.
