A Full Day of Farm Fresh Fall Fun

On each Saturday and Sunday throughout October, Thompson’s Farm becomes one of the Yakima Valley’s premier fall destinations. Generations of families have made this Pumpkin Patch a tradition, welcoming visitors from across Washington State for a day filled with seasonal activities and memories.

The festival offers much more than pumpkin picking, with plenty of pumpkins available alongside attractions and treats for the whole family. Guests can enjoy pumpkin cannons sending pumpkins through the air, entertaining pig races, orchard hayrides, fresh homemade donuts prepared on-site, a challenging corn maze, and more.

Visitors can search for the right pumpkin, pick fresh apples, or simply enjoy an outdoor family day in a beautiful rural setting. Traditional harvest experiences are paired with distinctive attractions found on our fifth-generation family farm.

Admission and parking are FREE. Spend the day enjoying the free activities, then pay only for the experiences you select or the items you take home. Pumpkin cannons fire on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm, with pig races following each launch. Fresh homemade donuts are made all day on weekends, and apples are available for u-pick.
