At Pumpkin Patch & Festival at Thompson’s Farm, visitors can enjoy pumpkin cannons, pig races, hayrides, a corn maze, homemade donuts, and more.

Throughout October, Thompson’s Farm welcomes families every Saturday and Sunday for one of the Yakima Valley’s premier fall destinations. The Pumpkin Patch has been a generations-long family tradition, bringing people from across Washington State to enjoy a full day of seasonal activities and shared memories.

Pumpkin picking is only part of the experience, with plenty of pumpkins available alongside attractions for all ages. Pumpkin cannons send pumpkins soaring through the air, pig races entertain both children and adults, and hayrides travel through the orchard. Guests can also enjoy fresh homemade donuts prepared on-site, take on the challenging corn maze, and discover additional fall activities.

Families can visit to find the right pumpkin, pick fresh apples, or spend time outdoors in a beautiful rural setting. Traditional harvest experiences are paired with distinctive attractions found on the fifth-generation family farm.

Admission and parking are FREE. Guests can enjoy the free activities and pay only for the experiences or items they select. Pumpkin cannons fire on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm, with pig races following each launch. Fresh homemade donuts are made throughout weekend days, and apples are available for u-pick.
