A Yakima Valley Fall Tradition

Each Saturday and Sunday in October, Thompson’s Farm becomes one of the Yakima Valley’s premier fall destinations. For generations, families have visited this Pumpkin Patch from across Washington State to enjoy a full day of autumn activities and create lasting memories.

Farm Fresh Fun and Produce

This is more than a place to choose a pumpkin. The full fall festival includes pumpkin cannons sending pumpkins through the air, pig races for children and adults, orchard hayrides, fresh homemade donuts prepared on-site, a challenging corn maze, and more.

Guests can search for the perfect pumpkin, pick fresh apples, or enjoy an outdoor family activity in a beautiful rural setting. Traditional harvest experiences are paired with distinctive attractions found on the fifth-generation family farm.

Admission and parking are FREE. Visitors can enjoy the free activities and pay only for the experiences they select or the items they take home. Pumpkin cannons fire on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm, followed by pig races. Fresh homemade donuts are made all day on weekends, and apples are available for u-pick.
