AMERICA’S 250th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION – FREE BIRTHDAY CAKE

The Central Washington State Fair in Yakima will mark America's 250th birthday with patriotic performances, activities for families, and a free birthday cake celebration taking place from 3 pm to 6 p.m. With valid identification at the gate, veterans, active-duty military personnel, and first responders can receive $5 Fair admission.
The program includes the Yakima Valley Warriors Color Guard and Parade, the Yakima Valley Swing Band, a barbershop quartet, and military displays representing every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. Lady Liberty and Uncle Sam stilt walkers will also appear. Visitors may additionally experience “Moments That Made Us,” the Fair's America 250 educational exhibit about the people, events, and ideals that shaped our nation's history.
