Event Overview
On Friday evenings, Yakimia Valley Vintners welcomes guests for after-hours live music from 5 pm to 7 pm at Secret Oasis on the Yakima Valley College campus. The gathering is open to everyone, including kids and pets.
Guests can relax with a glass of award-winning wines while enjoying the melodies of visiting musicians. Special Sangrias are offered daily while supplies last. Small food plates and non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Reservations are encouraged but not required, and there is no cover charge.
Featured Musician
Shawn Loomis discovered his connection to guitar through jam sessions with his father during childhood. He continued developing that interest by playing guitar in his high school jazz band, eventually turning music into a career.
His faith and musical interests later came together when he had the opportunity to play guitar and lead worship for his church. Shawn now brings his musical ability and enthusiasm to the Yakima community while continuing to value the simple tradition of making music with family.
