About Sam Miller

Sam Miller is a nationally touring comedian from Olympia, Washington. He is 6 foot 6, weighs 360 pounds, has two kids—one of them is on purpose—and has been married for 15 years. He has also been clean and sober for 17 years.

His comedy draws on life as a sober parent, as well as what jails are like in Yakima.

Miller’s first album and special, Round Trip, was recorded and filmed under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel. Miller had recently signed a three-album deal with Schlissel’s indie label, Stand Up! Records. Released October 27th 2023, Round Trip immediately went to number one on the iTunes Comedy Charts and entered the top 200 overall charts.

He is a recurring guest on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, where an estimated 2.5 million listeners have heard him. Miller has written for Newsweek.

His comedy competition accomplishments include runner-up in the 2021 Seattle International Comedy Competition and winning the Comedy on Trial Competition in 2017. He has headlined major comedy clubs such as Sidesplitters in Tampa, Helium in Portland, and The Laugh Factory and Zanies in Chicago.

Miller has additionally performed with the Addicts Comedy Tour and at NA and AA conventions throughout the country.
