The Simon & Garfunkel Story returns to North America this year with an immersive concert-style theater production at The Capitol Theatre in Downtown Yakima. The show combines huge projection photos and original film footage with a full live band performing songs including Mrs. Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound and many more.

The theater experience follows the remarkable path of folk-rock duo Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It begins with their early days as Tom & Jerry, traces their rise to becoming one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60’s, covers their dramatic split in 1970, and concludes with their 1981 reunion at The Concert in Central Park, attended by more than half a million fans.

Since 1965, Simon & Garfunkel have sold more than 100 million albums. Their perfectly matched harmonies and songs that poignantly captured the times established them as one of the most successful folk-rock duos of all time. Over the years, they won 10 Grammy Awards and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.

Their Bridge Over Troubled Water album received a 1977 Brit Awards nomination for Best International Album. In 2003, Simon and Garfunkel received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The following year, The Sound of Silence was honored with a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.
