The Tony® Award-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm returns in a new touring production, coming directly from Broadway to stages across America. THE WIZ reimagines The Wizard of Oz through an iconic score filled with soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk, alongside Dorothy’s moving search for her place in a contemporary world.

Schele Williams (The Notebook) directs, with choreography by JaQuel Knight (Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Black Is King). Additional material comes from Tony-nominated and Emmy-nominated writer and TV host Amber Ruffin (The Amber Ruffin Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers).
