Classes and Workshops

The Washington Native Plant Society hosts an enjoyable, collaborative way to learn about the flora of the inland northwest through dichotomous keys and real plant samples. Workshop topics may include grasses, identifying leafless twigs, and determining which native aster is in hand.

These gatherings are not formal “classes”; they function more like a nature study club where participants refresh their knowledge in different ways. Registration is preferred, while walk-ins are welcome, though space may be limited.
