Ales for ALS at Bale Breaker Brewing Company
June TBA, 2027
We’re excited to welcome everyone to this year’s Ales for ALS celebration. Late June brings a FREE, all-ages gathering to the brewery lawn, with beer, live music, food, and activities for the entire family—all in support of research to end ALS.
This is a cause that means a great deal to our family, which is why we make it our biggest event of the year. The day includes multiple food vendors, live music, and the debut of our annual Ales for ALS beer, Bubba's Brew. For every pint sold at the event, we’ll donate $1 to ALS-TDI. Join us at the source and raise a glass for the cause.
What is Ales for ALS?
Ales for ALS is a national fundraising effort that Loftus Ranches, our family's hop farm, launched in 2013 to build awareness and support ALS research. Each year, Loftus Ranches and Yakima Chief Hops provide breweries throughout the country with a distinctive blend made primarily from experimental hops. Participating breweries are asked to contribute at least $1 per pint brewed to the ALS Therapy Development Institute.
Since 2013, the campaign has generated hope, awareness, and over $3,500,000 for research at ALS-TDI. Breweries in 38 states and three countries have taken part, creating distinctive, delicious beers while helping advance this important work. Together, we’re moving forward one pint at a time.
Those who would like to contribute beyond the event can donate directly to ALS-TDI at:
