As Texas’ official qualifying event for the World Food Championships, the Texas Food Championship offers competitors the opportunity to win a coveted Golden Ticket and compete as part of Team Texas on the world stage. Ten culinary competition divisions spotlight barbecue, live-fire cooking, seafood, burgers, desserts, and more, placing Corpus Christi at the center of Texas food culture.

The Texas Food Championship is Texas’ official qualifying event for the World Food Championships. For three days in Corpus Christi, chefs and culinary competitors come together for food, competition, and entertainment. Across 10 culinary divisions, competitors pursue a coveted Golden Ticket and the opportunity to represent Team Texas at the World Food Championships.
