How to Get There

How do I obtain a beach wheelchair?
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department provides free Beach Wheelchairs for persons with disabilities. These chairs make it possible to travel across the sand and into the surf. Availability is first-come, first-served while lifeguards are on duty.

Where should I put my trash?
Blue boxes at North Beach provide complimentary trash bags; take one or two for your visit. Their design allows sand to fall away while keeping the bags from catching the wind and blowing down the beach. Trash cans are positioned at each beach entrance and throughout the shoreline. Help leave the beach in better condition for the next visitor.
Are camping and campfires allowed?
North Beach does not permit camping or campfires.
