The Outer Edge Video Series

The Outer Edge is a six-video series created by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau to encourage responsible travel and celebrate the vibrant local community it serves. The series brings viewers into the heart and soul of the Outer Banks of North Carolina through the experiences of OBX locals devoted to photography, commercial fishing, boat building, local product crafting, weather-pattern analysis, and the grassroots music scene.

Across these stories, the series explores the distinctive relationship between the islands and the people who love and care for them. It honors the beauty, resilience, and creativity that shape the Outer Banks. Visitors who want to contribute to the community can find many local volunteer opportunities available.
