Sweet Shops and Dessert Spots on Catalina Island

Catalina Island offers plenty of ways to enjoy something sweet, from island made saltwater taffy, caramel apples, hand-dipped chocolates, gourmet cookies, brownies, gelato and ice cream. For a special event that calls for a custom made cake, orders can be placed in advance through Vons Grocery.

For ice cream and gelato, visitors can choose from Sailor's Delight Ice Cream Shop, Catalina Cones, Lloyd's of Avalon and Scoops. In the summer months, Chill at Descanso Beach Club serves adult and virgin frozen cocktails, including Catalina's very own Buffalo Milk. Bistro at Atwater, Catalina Coffee & Cookie Co, Lloyd's and Avalon Bake Shop offer baked goods, pastries, cookies, coffees and more.
