Catalina Island Restaurants With Kid-Friendly Options

• Avalon Grille — Younger diners can choose from Sliders, Mac and Cheese, Crispy Fried Chicken Breast Strips, and Grilled Catch of the Day.

• Bistro at Atwater — Kid-friendly picks include Muffins, Oatmeal, Fruit Cup, Yogurt Parfait, Cookies, and Smoothies.

• Bluewater Avalon — The guppies menu is designed for children 10 years and younger. Kids select an entrée, plus one side from garden salad, veggies, wild rice, potato chips, scalloped potato, or french fries, and one drink from apple, cranberry, orange, or pineapple juice or low-fat milk. Entrée options include:

  • Shrimp, Chicken, Alaskan Cod, or Salmon dipping sticks with ranch
  • Burger Patty (no bun)* or Cheeseburger Slider
  • Pasta with Tomato Sauce or Butter & Romano Cheese
  • Baby Back Ribs

• Coney Island West — While there is not a separate kids menu, children have plenty to enjoy, including cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, fish & chips, sandwiches, soft serve ice cream cones, and milk shakes.

• Coyote Joe's — Kids Plates feature Chicken Tender, Small Burrito, Small Quesadilla, or Taquito, each served with rice & beans or fries. Bernadette's Kids Smoothies are available in strawberry, pina colada, or mango.

• Descanso Beach Club — A kids menu is offered even though it is not published, with hamburger, quesadilla, or hot dog choices served with fruit or french fries.

• Eric's on the Pier — Kids menu items include Corn Dog, 1/2 Grilled Cheese, and 1/2 PB&J. The adult menu also offers Buffalo Burger, Burger, Hot Dog, Soup, Burritos, Tacos, and Fish & Chips.

• Harbor Reef Restaurant (Two Harbors) — Kids can order Cactus Chicken Tenders, Suncup Grilled Cheese, Poppy Pasta, Buckeye Cheeseburger, or Fairy Lantern Quesadilla.

• Luau Larry's — The kids menu offers Hamburger, Grilled Cheese, or Chicken Strips, with French Fries or Fresh Fruit.

• M Restaurant — Children’s options include Penne Pasta with marinara, parmesan, or butter; Chicken Tenders; and Flatbread with cheese or pepperoni, with a choice of fries or fruit.

• NDMK Fish House — The Little Grom Menu includes Grilled Chicken Bowl and California Roll.

• Original Antonio's — There is no dedicated kids menu, but the restaurant serves pizza, wings, pasta, and sandwiches.

• Original Jack's Country Kitchen — Breakfast options include Eggs, Eggs Benedict, and Quesadilla. For lunch, guests should check with the server.

• Sunset Bar & Grill at Catalina Canyon Inn — Kid-friendly choices include Chicken Strips, Mac & Cheese, and Grilled Cheese.

• Three Palms Arcade — Although a kids menu is not offered, the menu includes pizza, wings, tacos, quesadillas, and salads.

Sailors Delight Ice Cream Shop offers creamy ice cream, Italian Ice, no sugar added ice cream, sherbet, and homemade waffle cones. Catalina Cones has ice cream and soft serve. Along with burgers and hot dogs, Coney Island West serves milk shakes, floats, and soft serve ice cream. Eric's on the Pier offers grab-and-go ice cream, funnel cakes, and frozen bananas.
