New Year’s Eve Gala Celebration

Celebrate 53 Years! Ring in 2027 on Thursday, December 31, 2026, at the 53rd Annual New Year's Eve Gala Celebration. This sparkling evening in the world-famous Casino Ballroom combines evening gowns, tuxedos, dining, and dancing. Dress in your finest and enjoy the stylish sophistication and timeless atmosphere of the Casino Ballroom. Reservations are now open, and early booking is encouraged before the event sells out.

Included With Reservation Purchase

A reservation costs $235 per person. It includes a gourmet buffet dinner and dessert, dancing, party favors, and the classic midnight balloon drop. A professional photographer will be stationed on the Mezzanine level to capture the occasion.

The Perfect Event will provide the musical entertainment, with incredible musicians performing Big Band music, contemporary and pop selections, and other music suited to guests of all ages. A live DJ will also perform.

Schedule

The Casino doors open to guests at 6:45pm. Dinner reservations are accepted at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, or 8:30 pm. Admission to the upstairs Ballroom begins no more than 15 minutes before the selected reservation time.

Guests who arrive before their scheduled time may wait in the Marine Bar on the Mezzanine level. Seating, light entertainment, and beverages will be available there until 9:00 pm. Buffet dinner service will continue until approximately 9:30 pm, and the band will play until approximately 12:30 am.

Menu items may change or be substituted depending on availability.

Seating Arrangements

To accommodate all tables while preserving as much dance-floor space as possible, some parties may share a table with other guests depending on party size.

• Parties of 1 to 2: Parties of 1 to 2 will be seated with other guests.
• Private tables: Parties of 2 may choose a private table for two. Only 28 tables total are available, on a first-come, first-served basis. The additional charge is $100 per table, in addition to the per person price. Private tables in Sections C & D are now SOLD OUT.
• Parties of 3 to 10: Parties of 3 to 5 may share a table with other guests. Parties of 6 to 10 will be seated at individual tables.
• Parties of 11 or more: These groups will be placed at two or more adjacent tables.

Select a Table Location and Dinner Time

Your table remains yours for the entire evening, no matter which dinner reservation time you choose.

At the time of reservation, select one dinner time and one seating section:

• Dinner reservation time: 7:00, 7:30, or 8:30 pm.
• Seating section: Section A, B, C or D.

Seating Sections

• Section A: Descanso Beach side, nearer the bar and buffet.
• Section B: Descanso Beach side, nearer the band and stage.
• Section C: Avalon Harbor side, nearer the bar and buffet. Private tables in Section C are now sold out.
• Section D: Avalon Harbor side, nearer the band and stage. Private tables in Section D are now sold out.

Requested times and locations will be honored when seating remains available. Seating sections and dinner times are limited and do sell out, so reserve early.

Reservations must include every person who wants to sit together and must be made under one name for the full party. If your party grows, contact us immediately to ask whether the addition can be accommodated. Changes or additions become more difficult, or impossible, as New Year's Eve approaches.

Reservation and Payment Details

Reservations for the 2026 New Year's Eve Gala are $235 per person and are now on sale. Full payment is required with every reservation, and confirmation will be sent by email. Payment methods accepted are VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.

Cancellation Policy - ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Reservations are non-refundable. If you cannot attend after purchasing your reservation, notify us before the event by emailing info@lovecatalina.com. You may change the name on your reservation to that of a friend or family member if you wish to give them a New Year's Eve celebration on Catalina Island.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the attire?

Gentlemen must wear a coat and tie; black-tie attire is optional. Ladies may wear evening cocktail attire through formal ball gowns. Coat check will be available throughout the event on the Mezzanine level.

Are children allowed?

Children are welcome, but the price is the same for children of every age.

What if I have a special diet?

Gluten-free and vegetarian offerings will be identified on the menu and buffet. Note any dietary allergies when making the reservation, and the Chefs will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Can I bring my own wine or alcohol to the event?

Drinks may be purchased at the bar. The venue does not permit outside food or beverages. Coffee and tea are included with the buffet dinner and dessert.

What if I want to sit with friends who are also attending?

To ensure that multiple parties sit together, make the reservation under one name for the complete group and include everyone who should be seated together.

How do I get to the Casino?

The Casino is a short 5-minute walk from the center of town. Taxis and the on-demand shuttle service, COAST, are also available.

Where is my ticket?

The event does not issue tickets. Your reservation confirmation and the name of your party provide entry to the Gala. The entire party must arrive together to check in and enter the event. Confirmation receipts are sent by email after a reservation is made.

Can I make a reservation by phone?

No. Reservations are accepted online only.
