Near the city but immersed in nature, The Trailhead accommodates indoor and outdoor gatherings of many kinds. Events include social and corporate events/retreats, reunions, birthday parties, quinceañeras, bar/bat mitzvahs, memorial services, large group picnics, and themed outdoor activities such as skiing, tubing, mountain biking and more.

Set within Theodore Wirth Regional Park, The Trailhead offers a natural setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The venue has appeared in Minnesota Bride. Lavender Magazine also features commentary recognizing The Trailhead as one of Minneapolis’ unique wedding venues.

Several outdoor ceremony settings surround The Trailhead. Options range from the slim, tall-timber-lined path along the building’s south side to multiple green spaces throughout the park. Receptions take place in the Great Hall, where Douglas Fir beams and ceilings, custom wood tables, and two window-lined walls provide views of bikers clearing jumps in summer and skiers moving along the trails in winter. An outdoor patio beside a grassy lawn creates space for outdoor games and guest entertainment.

Trails, bridges, and skyline views across the park create photo opportunities throughout every season.
