A Gathering Place for St. Louis Park

The St. Louis Park Rec Center serves as a versatile hub for the community. Its offerings include public ice skating, hockey tournaments, meetings, wedding receptions, conferences, birthday parties, and more. The facility contains two indoor ice arenas, a skate shop, a Banquet Room, and a Gallery Room. Outside, visitors can also find the Aquatic Park and the Recreation Outdoor Center (ROC).

Event Space

Overlooking scenic Wolfe Park and the Aquatic Park, the larger Banquet Room suits wedding receptions, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, company events, family reunions, and meetings. A caterer’s holding kitchen is provided, and alcoholic beverages may be served (with additional fees, contact Complete Beverage at 1-800-550-7750). Rentals are offered Sunday – Friday with a two-hour minimum, or on Saturday from 8 am – midnight.

On the Rec Center’s first floor, the Gallery Room accommodates up to 50 people and works well for small group gatherings, team meetings, and birthday parties. Either room can be rented for private parties during open public skating. Each rental provides two-hour use of the selected room plus skating admission for up to 15 people. AV equipment is available for an additional fee. The Gallery Room may be rented Sunday – Saturday, 8 am – 10 pm.
