The Local West End brings together welcoming snugs, polished wooden pub tables, traditional Irish fare, and a lively place to watch the game over a pint. During soccer and rugby broadcasts, flags, scarves, and jerseys fill the room. Celebrate a win with a properly poured Guinness or a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Inside, a hand-carved back bar accompanies compact snugs, high ceilings, and cut-glass details that catch the light with an old-world glow. When summer arrives, take a Guinness outside and settle in on the patio.

The Food

Begin with the famously addictive Whiskey Bites or Irish Pub Poutine. The Wee Lunch menu offers smaller portions of popular favorites, served with fries and a wee green salad. At only $15, it makes an easy workday lunch.

Dinner brings a lineup of Irish classics, including Fish & Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, and Corned Beef & Cabbage. The Pub Curry is another deeply satisfying choice. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich comes piled with bacon and pepper jack cheese and finished with a delicious whiskey-honey glaze.

Leave space for something sweet. Irish Cream Cheesecake is a favorite, while Banana Bread Pudding arrives with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Events

The Local has two private areas available for happy hours, corporate events, birthday celebrations, and casual get-togethers with friends. The larger Cooper Room features wood paneling and a decorative tin ceiling, with seating for 40. Behind the bar, a more intimate room accommodates 15. For the biggest gatherings, the full restaurant can be reserved for up to 220 people.
