A Family-Owned St. Louis Park Tradition

For nearly 60 years, The Park Tavern has served as a landmark in St. Louis Park. Ben Weber originally purchased the business in 1957, and Park Tavern has relocated and grown since then. In the 1970’s, Ben’s son Phil assumed leadership alongside his sister Diane.

Today, this family-friendly destination combines bowling lanes, arcade games, billiards, a restaurant, and a bar.

Park Taven accommodates groups of every size and budget. Its private and semi-private dining rooms are available without a charge or spending minimum, making them suitable for rehearsal dinners, baby showers, class reunions, small office gatherings, and corporate events. The venue can host and cater events for up to 500 people. Guests may bring their own cake for a celebration.

Catering for Events

Park Tavern is recognized for its award-winning burgers and made-to-order pizzas, along with family-friendly fare that gives American classics distinctive twists. The chef and staff collaborate with event hosts to build a menu suited to the occasion.

Available selections include assorted hot and cold appetizers and themed buffets such as the Latin Fiesta and BBQ Buffet. Buffet events require a minimum of 20 guests. Pricing covers 1 hour of food service and 2 hours of bowling, although bowling can be excluded from the pricing.

Buffet menus can be customized, and individual menus are available for guests with dietary restrictions. Off-site catering is also available.

Bowling and Entertainment

Park Tavern has 20 lanes of bowling, with individual and group rates as well as shoe rental.

At the 11th Frame Bar, grown up kids can play vintage arcade favorites including pinball and Donkey Kong. The space also includes a pool table and darts. Younger children can use the mini-arcade near the bowling alley, with games such as Hammerhead and the Claw.

When the weather is pleasant, guests can head outdoors to the spacious patio for bocce ball and cornhole. With its broad mix of activities, Park Tavern suits corporate outings, school groups, family reunions, and other gatherings.
