Sports Tournaments and Athletic Events in St. Louis Park and Golden Valley

Sporting Events

Outstanding in Our Fields

Whether you are organizing, watching, or competing in a sporting event, Westopolis can assist with reserving indoor and outdoor venues and arranging hotel accommodations.

Fabulous Facilities

Hockey enthusiasts will appreciate St. Louis Park’s Rec Center, which includes two state-of-the-art indoor hockey facilities and accommodates up to 2,800 spectators. Beside it, the ROC (Recreation Outdoor Center) provides a covered outdoor venue with a skating rink and generous bleacher seating during winter. The Minnesota Wild come to practice on this ice each year. In spring and summer, the ROC becomes a turf field and a dry concrete floor, creating flexible space for practices and events.

Golden Valley contains as much as 15% of the city’s land in parks and open spaces, including over 1,000 acres and nearly 50 miles of trails. Brookview Community Center offers golf, lawn bowling, a driving range, biking, and more. Theodore Wirth Regional Park adds a broad selection of winter and summer activities, helping establish Golden Valley as a premier destination for both summer and winter sports activities.

St. Louis Park and Golden Valley also provide a wide range of baseball, soccer, and lacrosse fields, including Rotary Northside Park and Skippy Field. Together, these communities are an ideal setting for a major game. Players, coaches, and spectators have convenient, safe lodging choices with dining, shopping, and entertainment easily accessible during their visit.

The source page includes a testimonial from Emily of Major League Quadball describing a successful event, the quality of the field, and the team’s welcoming, collaborative approach.
