A Passion for Wine & Events

Billy Smith’s original vision began with more than 400 cold climate Marquette grape vines planted in his front yard. Family and friends helped him begin crushing and fermenting locally grown cold climate grapes alongside the best Northern California grapes he could buy.

Through experimentation and time, he developed high quality red wines along with a few whites. His appreciation for eclectic décor also inspired him to transform his warehouse into a premier event center for weddings and gatherings of all types.

The Winery

In St. Louis Park’s unofficial “Distillery District,” Warehouse Winery creates memorable events in an inviting, artistic-industrial environment filled with eclectic and playful décor. The relaxed setting suits both special events and monthly Wine Down Wednesday visits for guests who want to taste the wine.

The Wine

Winemaker Billy Smith brings together Marquette cold climate grapes and some of the best Northern California grapes. The resulting selection includes cabernet sauvignon, frontenac, syrah, merlot, zinfandel, a wide variety of red blends, and a few whites.

Tastings

Wine Down Wednesdays take place on the last Wednesday of the month from 5 – 9 pm. Attendees can sample up to 5 wines, receive a full glass of their favorite, and enjoy light snacks, mini Bundt cakes, and trivia from Trivia Mafia. Admission costs $20 per person at the door. Please RSVP to attend.

Event Space

Large open areas, eclectic décor, and a relaxed atmosphere make Warehouse Winery a venue for weddings, parties, and corporate events. The space accommodates up to 150 seated and 200 standing.
