The Pub

Cozy snugs, gleaming wooden tables, and traditional Irish fare make The Local West End a welcoming destination for watching the game and enjoying a pint or two. During soccer and rugby broadcasts, the room fills with flags, scarves, and jerseys. Celebrate a win with a perfectly poured Guinness or a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

A hand-carved back bar anchors the space, while short snugs, tall ceilings, and cut glass catch the light with the character of another era. Guests can also settle in with a Guinness on the year-round patio.

The Food

Begin with famously addictive Whiskey Bites or Irish Pub Poutine. At lunchtime, the Wee Lunch menu offers pint-sized servings of popular dishes alongside fries and a wee green salad, making it well suited to a workday meal.

Dinner favorites include Fish & Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, and Corned Beef & Cabbage. The menu also features a satisfying Pub Curry and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and a delicious whiskey-honey glaze. Dessert options include Irish Cream Cheesecake and Banana Bread Pudding served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Weekend brunch brings fluffy omelets, savory corned beef hash, and the ever-popular and ever-delicious Irish French toast. A bar serving bloody marys, mimosas, and other tasty drinks helps set the tone for the weekend. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 2 pm.

Events

Two private spaces are available for happy hours, corporate events, birthday parties, or casual gatherings with friends. The larger Cooper Room includes wood paneling, a decorative tin ceiling, and seating for 40. A smaller room behind the bar accommodates 15. The entire restaurant can also be bought out for events of up to 220 people.
