Snowboarding

In Minnesota’s Sweet Spot, skiing and snowboarding are part of the lifestyle—not merely sports.

The Snowboarding Hill at Theodore Wirth Regional Park in Golden Valley is a convenient, affordable, and welcoming place to get started or refine your technique. Anyone hoping to learn how to snowboard, or returning to build confidence, can find an approachable setting for learning to shred.

Lift tickets and rental equipment are available at The Trailhead.

The Hill is typically open Fridays from 4 – 8 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 8 pm. Cold temperatures, wind chill or icy conditions may occasionally lead to closures. For the latest info, call 612-355-7757.

Once you’ve spent the day learning to grind and ride switch, settle in at Mill Valley Market, the Trailhead restaurant. The menu includes bison burger, grain bowl and Belgian waffles with chocolate and cream. Specialty coffee drinks, beer and wine offerings make the Market a comfortable place to spend time with friends.
