Curling is a classic Minnesota ice sport, and Brookview Golf & Lawn Bowling in Golden Valley features the state’s first outdoor pub curling rink. The game is similar to shuffleboard and welcomes participants of every age and skill level, making it a comfortable choice for first-timers and casual curlers.

Outdoor Fun

Four synthetic-ice sheets are available at Brookview. The objective is to place your rock nearest the center. Because the surface is less slippery than it may appear, give your rock some additional force. Warm clothing is recommended for the outdoor conditions.

Rink Rental

Pub curling runs November through March. Rink hire begins at $15/hr, with reservations accepted up to seven days ahead. Group rentals, catering and beverage services are also offered.

Three One Six Bar + Grill

At Brookview, Three One Six Bar + Grill offers burgers, sandwiches and brews to enjoy ahead of your match, while playing, or afterward. Guests can also warm up beside the cozy outdoor fire pit while taking in broad views of the golf course’s winter landscape.
