Park amenities

On the west side of St. Louis Park, Aquila Park offers lighted softball diamonds and a football field during the summer and fall. Visitors can also use the basketball courts, eight tennis courts, horseshoe facilities, and playground structure. The tennis courts can be rented, and a sliding hill is available in winter.

The North Cedar Lake Regional Trail passes through the park and supports biking, walking, and running.

Picnic tables and sun shelters are available throughout Aquila Park, with shelter rentals offered. The park also provides Wi-Fi, outdoor grills, restrooms, a water fountain, and off-street parking.

Annual celebration

Each July 3, Aquila Park hosts St. Louis Park’s annual Fireworks Celebration. People gather across the hillside to view the fireworks display.
