About Bass Lake Preserve
Bass Lake Preserve encompasses 52 acres and is especially known for the 1.4-mile George Haun Trail. The route winds through oak savannah and prairie surrounding Bass Lake.
The Preserve also offers 2 tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts. From April through October, the tennis courts may be rented for a fee. Court reservations are available by calling 952-924-2540.
Bass Lake Park
Next to the Preserve, Bass Lake Park features the interactive Biba Smart Playground, one of only four such playgrounds in St. Louis Park. A free app can be downloaded for use at the park, helping encourage play while providing games for kids and features for parents.
The park also includes a picnic shelter and, during winter, an ice rink.
