Brookview is THE place to be for recreation, food, gatherings, and outdoor activities throughout the year. Its offerings include an 18-hole regulation golf course, a par-3 course, a driving range, 2 18-hole winter disc golf courses, 8 lawn bowling rinks, and 6 seasonal pub curling rinks. Visitors can also enjoy the Three One Six Bar + Grill, the Backyard Indoor Playground, and venues for events & celebrations.
Winter activities at Brookview include fat tire biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and skijouring. The broad patio features a fire pit and provides a place to unwind while watching the sunset.

Golf
Regulation 18
Brookview’s Regulation Course is a mature layout with moderate bunkering, well-maintained fairways, and beautifully-maintained greens. Bassett Creek crosses six holes, while water hazards affect play on 11 additional holes.
Several tee settings are available. Total distances include 6,397 yards from the blue championship tees, 6,123 yards from white tees, 5,514 yards from the gold tees, and 5,328 yards from the red forward tees. No one under 10 is allowed on the course.
Par 3
The Par 3 Course offers an approachable experience for beginning golfers while giving experienced players a varied setting to refine their short game. Sand traps, trees, and water hazards add challenge for golfers of every skill level. Its layout is also suited to players seeking a quick round. Youth ages 4-9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Driving Range
Brookview’s Driving Range is a full range with no restricted club. No one under age 4 is permitted on the Driving Range at any time. Youth ages 4-9 must be accompanied by an adult.
Golf Shop
The Brookview Golf Shop carries moderately priced apparel for men and women, along with golf equipment and accessories. Brookview can also special order golf clubs, club sets, shoes, apparel, accessories, and other items.
Rates
Carts, push carts, and club rentals are available. Discounted rates are offered for seniors, juniors, and club members.
Lawn Bowling
Brookview is home to the largest lawn bowling green in Minnesota. Like bocce ball, lawn bowling takes place on a large rectangular green separated into parallel playing strips.
Rinks can be rented by the hour, with single-rink reservations available up to seven days in advance. Private groups may book a single rink, half green, or full green. The activity is relaxed, enjoyable, and appropriate for all ages.
Winter Recreation
Trails
Brookview provides winter options for a range of ages, including fat tire biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skijoring, and walking. The city maintains a groomed one-mile, multi-use trail that winds through the golf course.
The corduroy-style compacted trail measures 6 to 8 feet wide and depends on natural snow. In 2019, Brookview added traditional cross-country ski grooves and solar LED lights, extending trail use beyond sunset. Restrooms and locker rooms are available as well.
Disc Golf
Brookview has two 18-hole disc golf courses. The sport follows the basic format of regular golf, but players throw specially-designed discs into chain baskets rather than striking a ball toward a hole. Scores are based on the number of throws needed to travel from the launch point to the basket.
The Brookview Disc Golf Course is open seven days a week beginning in November. Discs are available to rent for $6 a bundle.
Outdoor Pub Curling
Brookview offers 6 outdoor pub curling rinks designed for beginners and casual curlers. Rinks are rented by the hour and may be reserved up to seven days ahead. Groups can book individual rinks or all six rinks for private events. Participants should dress for outdoor weather.
