Twin Cities Film Fest is a 10-day event devoted to independent and Minnesota-made films, presenting 150+ screenings at venues in the West End and Edina.
About Twin Cities Film Fest
The Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) brings together independent and Minnesota-made cinema in a hybrid format. More than 150 films are shown in person at Marcus West End Cinema in St. Louis Park and the Edina Mann Theatre, with additional films available online.
TCFF presents leading American independent films alongside studio productions. The program includes thought-provoking documentaries, award-winning narratives, and a broad selection of short films. Approximately one third of the films have Minnesota connections.
Special Film Series
- Her Series — Films by, for, and about women, created to ignite and extend women empowerment.
- Changemaker Series — Films focused on a specific issue in the world; this year’s subject is domestic trauma.
- Empower Series — Films centered on BIPOC filmmakers, stories, and voices.
- OUT Series — Films featuring LGBTQ+ filmmakers, stories, and voices.
- Code Red — Films addressing climate change, with a particular focus on emotionally eye-opening documentaries.
- Black on Screen — Films from Black filmmakers that share powerful stories of Black lives, celebrate culture and identity, and illuminate both triumphs and challenges.
- MN-Connected — Films with meaningful Minnesota ties, including films shot in the state, made or directed by a Minnesotan, or featuring a Minnesotan in a lead role.
- Studio — Award-winning contenders and highly anticipated releases from major studios shown before their theatrical releases.
Festival Experiences
Alongside the film program, TCFF offers red carpet interviews and photos, Q&A sessions, free educational sessions/panels, and parties.
Tickets and Passes
Admission to in-person films ranges from $15-30. Silver, Gold and Platinum multi-movie passes are available as well. Individual streaming films cost $10, while an All-Access Streaming Pass is available for $60. A number of films can be watched for free.
