Havoc at the Pavek: Local Legends — A STEM Mystery

An Unusual Adventure at the Museum

Something mysterious has arrived at the Pavek. Havoc at the Pavek: Local Legends invites families to investigate an original scavenger hunt-style STEM experience with a strange connection to the history of electronic communication.

While testing shortwave radio, Professor Havoc uncovered something startling—and may have revealed more than intended. Cryptids drawn from legend and lore have now appeared throughout the museum, interfering with much more than the airwaves.

As an official explorer, you’ll help Professor Havoc bring the situation under control. Move through the museum and conduct hands-on STEM experiments focused on unusual signals and stabilization. Completing each activity brings you closer to a mysterious hidden exhibit. The exhibit can only be accessed for one night, and its contents must stay secret.

The experience takes approximately 45-60 minutes. Timed admission is offered every 30 minutes, and last entry is at 3 p.m. The activity is fun for the whole family.

Admission

RSVP early and pay what you can. Day-of Walk-Ups pay regular museum admission – $12 adults, $7 students (ages 4-17, children under 3 are free).
