CPKC Holiday Train

For its 28th annual journey through the northern U.S., the CPKC Holiday Train will bring live performances and holiday cheer while collecting donations for local food banks. Its first stop is the railway crossing at Golden Hills Drive in Golden Valley at 5 pm. The train will then continue to the railroad crossing at Library Lane & Lake St in St. Louis Park, where it is expected at approximately 6:15 pm.

Both stops will feature a 1/2 hour set from Allen Stone, an American soul and R&B singer.

Admission is free. Guests are encouraged to contribute a financial donation or healthy food to PRISM or STEP.

The St. Louis Park stop is next to STEP – the St. Louis Park Emergency Program. Attendees may begin arriving at 4:30 pm to secure a viewing location. Hot food and beverages will be available for purchase. The performance can be seen only from the west side of the tracks. After the train arrives, crossing the tracks will not be possible, so attendees should plan ahead.
