Be The Light Winter Solstice Walk

Mark the winter solstice with an all-ages luminary walk featuring candle lighting, messages from the community, and a welcoming fire.

On the shortest day of the year, come together to acknowledge people in our community who may be facing mental illness or other difficult circumstances. Walk through the forest along a luminary path shaped by visual messages from community members. Light a candle to honor or remember someone who struggles with or has struggled with mental health.

After the walk, gather around a fire in the glow of winter. You can also make a luminary bearing your own message, bring it home, and share its light in your neighborhood.

This event is free, though registration is required. Registration closes once the program reaches capacity.
