Local Business AI Checklist

Each business type receives a structured checklist covering what AI needs in order to describe it properly, including hours, descriptions, specialties, best-fit audiences, seasonal details, and more.

2. Educate

AI 101 for Businesses

A guided session walks each business through its checklist, explaining what should be updated, where it belongs, and why it affects AI representation. The education is specific to the business type rather than a generic AI overview.

3. Implement

45-Day Completion Window

Businesses receive 45 days to complete the checklist and update the digital places they already use. Intentful provides direction on where information should live, such as a business webpage, Google Business Profile, and the DMO site.

4. Audit

Quarterly Visibility Review

Each quarter, Intentful audits the digital presence of every business against the taxonomy checklist. Businesses receive a report card, while the DMO receives a destination-wide view.

Local Business AI Discoverability is a destination-wide program from Intentful for DMOs and CVBs that helps every local business in a destination become discoverable and properly structured for the AI systems travelers rely on when planning trips.
